Come Sundown by Nora Roberts

It has been a long time since I have read one of these giant Nora Roberts singles and enjoyed the experience. The last one was Blue Smoke  ,which for some reason I did not feel was deep enough.

This book has all the usual Nora Robert elements that sets it in its exalted position. There are multiple strong women who have the ‘spine’ to build, grow and nurture both human life and the life of a business. There are their loving and caring counterparts with brains and spunk enough to entertain us.There is also the villain of the piece, the evil festering menace that stays in the background till it’s vanquished at the end. The narration lets you get involved in the lives of the Longbow siblings who are running the family ranch and resort. The past catches up to them and the emotions of all the affected people run riot.It takes a lot of patience and heart to try to do the right thing. It has humorous bits as well, which adds to the flavour. All in all, even if you are not a Nora Roberts fan, this is a good book to read.

P.S I finished this is nearly one sitting with the just a night’s sleep as interference.
