The Saturday Big Tent Wedding Party (No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, #12) by Alexander McCall Smith

Unfortunately for me, this book did not match up to the last one of the series:The Double Comfort Safari Club (No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency #11).The series though is a very interesting and unique set of works.Do check out the previous reviews if you have not had the chance to before proceeding with this short review.

This book had the resurgence of the precious white van, new intrigue in the form of the only case, the case of the hurt animals. That was not as interesting as the last few cases to come to the famous Lady Detectives of Botswana. The long awaited wedding is within sight, and there is a lot of planning involved(including new shoes!). Charlie the apprentice seems to be in over his head. It still had instances of the flavour of the series, but I am hoping the next book goes back on track and with me rating it higher than this one.
