There are a few chances when going on a random binge where I pick up books that are not right for me. This was a very highly rated book on Goodreads and I thought I would enjoy it.
Unfortunately for me, I am not very fond of swearing in regular conversation ( beyond a point, that is) and that puts me off from liking the people involved. Once I dislike the people, it is hard for me to relish the book. That is what happened in this instance. There is a cut throat world presented where each are trying to play to the weakness of their opponents and there are multiple layered games which are on going. I could not get past the narration, though the plots are intriguing. It may appeal to a more world wise audience than me.
