I am pleased to admit that I have had no problems continuing in my journey of available Perry Mason books on my Kindle Unlimited account. The fun continues in this one. Mason is riding high on a victory when the oddest man comes in. He is either mad or in the grips of a heightened terror. This either-or scenario has Perry Mason pulling favours, making subtle and unsubtle suggestions on phones and once he sets the ball rolling, it leads straight to chaos…
The man who comes in wants to make a specific will as well as deal with a howling dog, that might not have howled at all! This time around, Perry Mason does hover too close to the line when it comes to the actual law, but I did guess one particular event because of the number of times it was casually mentioned in the beginning. The plotting moves at breakneck speed and luckily our lead protagonists all survive to see another day without being locked behind bars. It is not a very large book and can probably be read in one sitting. I have already added the next available to the list.
My last KU review was: Everything You Are Kerry Anne King and my queue currently looks like this:
