Ii think I rated One of Us is Next same as you but Muse of Nightmares slightly better (I liked it less than Strange the Dreamer).
Master Mercurius i am yet to read, and the Perry Mason is one i haven’t read either.

I didn’t like the romance overshadowing the fantasy! Hence my rating ..what about you?

I didn’t mind the romance aspects as much though I will agree I’d have liked the fantasy part to be more prominent; the other aspect I was not as thrilled with was the spaceship-ey part since that took it to another type of fantasy than the kind of picture I would have formed from the first book.
