June 2022 Books Vs Moods

My last month’s post for my monthly wrap-up post was: May 2022 Books Vs Moods.

I had high hopes for this month, which did not exactly materialize the way I hoped. My husband had a cold early last week or so we thought. I kept my distance and thought that would be enough by the time he saw the bug through. I woke up last Friday with a swimming head and realised maybe it was not a simple bug. Tests proved us right. We are both boosted and were glad to feel the effects of the virus for only exactly 24 hours. It has been so long since our city disbanded any restrictions whatsoever, that it did not even strike us that the cold could have been something else! That is how easily we slip into different mindsets. Anyway, being ill meant not writing reviews, but I have read so many books in the past week that I might be able to double up reviews for the whole of the next month!!

Now that I am up and running (not literally), I hope to get down to writing reviews as soon as I can because I have read quite a few interesting works that I have enough fodder to talk about at length.

After an unusual personal diversion, back to my regular list where I pair up the mood in the books I reviewed would be best appreciated. I link the reviews to the covers so that if you are visiting for the first time (welcome) you can use this as a jumping-off point to find the one that interests you the most. I also made my Mid-Year Stats 2022 which was as usual a pleasure.
