Dockside (Lakeshore Chronicles #3) by Susan Wiggs

I have a few books on this blog by this author:

There is a level of intelligence and excitement in the character’s lives that makes the books of this author to be a genuinely interesting read. This particular case was no different. I have met a few of the characters in previous books and they felt comfortably familiar. In this installment of the LakeShore series, we have the ex-mayor all set to start a new life. She has big plans, primarily to start her own life now that her daughter has moved away.

The main highlight of her plans is for an old property that she wanted to bring to resort quality again. This is snatched away from her and she has to make do. We watch her life and that of Greg Bellamy intersect over and over again like a pattern over the past. It is a normal well written – romantic-strong family- happily ever after. I would recommend this series to those people who like such tales, and it is an easy uncomplicated read.

P.S: This is a pre-scheduled post that I am setting to post when I am travelling, I might get to the comments a little later than usual but I will be (probably more than) periodically checking the blog.
